In Taryn’s own words:
“
Gardens, fruits, trees, earth, water and sky have all made such a strong impression on me since I was young. I have wonderful memories that I cherish. Growing up in Point Loma, San Diego was amazing - with its lush tropical paradise, beautiful weather, and lots of opportunities to explore the coast. I was about 15 years old when flowers became my world. My love of plants – for all the goodness they bring, and also my love of painting and drawing - led me to find my niche as a landscape designer. There is so much joy and fulfillment in what I do. Not only do I create beautiful things for people to see and enjoy as an artist, but I also have the opportunity to share the "science" behind all the elements in a garden – and that creates a deeper connection between us as people and the beautiful place we call home.
A
s I draw and plant and prune, I hope that others will feel a little of what I have felt as I have spent time in the garden and in nature....for the best lessons in life come as we take time to look upon all things that have been created and appreciate their goodness."
